Murphy had one commercial client who wanted his business to have a traditional, upscale Alaskan theme with lots of rich colors and not a lot of wall art. As the project neared completion, Murphy wasn't satisfied. "Without wall art, it needed something to push it over the edge," she recalls. In the end, an 81-inch model plane was purchased to hang from the ceiling in the stairwell. "The added touch is just what the space needed," Murphy said.
